Job Summary:

The Factory Manager will oversee daily operations of the manufacturing facility, ensuring production targets are achieved efficiently, cost-effectively, and in compliance with quality standards and safety regulations. This role requires strong leadership, operational planning, and problem-solving skills to drive productivity and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and manage factory operations to meet production goals.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of production staff and support teams.
• Monitor production schedules, workflow, and resources to optimize efficiency.
• Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the production process.
• Manage budgets, control costs, and optimize resource utilization.
• Identify and implement process improvements for productivity and efficiency.
• Maintain equipment and ensure timely servicing to minimize downtime.
• Liaise with senior management on operational performance and challenges.
• Recruit, train, and develop factory staff to build a skilled workforce.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in factory or plant management.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, machinery, and quality systems.
• Leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate teams.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational abilities.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methods (preferred).
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
