Job Title: Product Specialist
Location: Colombo, Sri Lanka 
Department: Product / Sales / Marketing
Reports To: Product Manager / Sales Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Product Specialist to join our team. You will be responsible for understanding our product line inside and out, supporting sales teams with expert knowledge, assisting in product development, and ensuring customer satisfaction through strong product communication and training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary product expert within the organization.
• Support sales teams by providing in-depth product knowledge and demos.
• Collaborate with product managers to gather customer feedback and suggest product improvements.
• Assist in product launches, marketing campaigns, and training sessions.
• Create product documentation, including user guides, FAQs, and training materials.
• Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
• Ensure internal teams are up-to-date on product changes and features.
• Handle product-related inquiries from customers and internal stakeholders.
• Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, customer service, and engineering teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.

       QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2+ years of experience in a product specialist, product support, or related role.
• Strong understanding of product lifecycle, market trends, and customer needs.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to translate technical details into clear, user-friendly language.
• Proficient in tools like MS Office, CRM software, and product management platforms.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
