Job Title: Associate Project Manager

Department: Project Management / Operations
Location: Columbo
Reports To: Project Manager / Senior Project Manager

Role Overview:

The Associate Project Manager supports the planning, execution, and delivery of projects within scope, budget, and timeline. This role assists senior project managers in coordinating tasks, managing stakeholders, and ensuring smooth project execution. The position is ideal for candidates who are building their careers in project management and want to develop leadership, organizational, and client-facing skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with business goals.
  • Support the creation of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate project tasks, resources, and documentation.
  • Track project progress, risks, and dependencies, and escalate issues when needed.
  • Maintain communication with internal teams, clients, and external vendors.
  • Prepare and present status reports, dashboards, and project documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to project management standards, processes, and methodologies.
  • Participate in project meetings, capturing notes, action items, and follow-ups.
  • Contribute to process improvements and knowledge-sharing within the project management team.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, IT, Engineering, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, project support, or related roles.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Basic understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
  • Proficiency in MS Office, project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Trello, Asana).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities.
  • Certification (CAPM, Agile Fundamentals, or PMP in progress) is a plus.
