Call Centre Executive / Customer Support Associate

Location: Colombo

Job Summary:

We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our Call Centre team in Battaramulla. The role involves handling inbound and outbound calls, addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring excellent service delivery while maintaining company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Respond to customer inquiries, provide information, and resolve complaints efficiently.
  • Record and update customer details accurately in the system.
  • Promote products/services where applicable and support sales campaigns.
  • Escalate complex issues to the relevant department for resolution.
  • Achieve individual and team performance targets (call handling, service quality, sales, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and customer service standards.
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer information at all times.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • GCE A/L or equivalent educational qualification.
  • Prior experience in a call centre / customer service role is an advantage but not mandatory (freshers encouraged to apply).
  • Excellent communication skills in Sinhala and English (Tamil proficiency is an added advantage).
  • Computer literacy with basic knowledge of MS Office and typing skills.
  • Strong listening, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in shifts and perform under pressure.
