Position Overview

The Communication Consultant is responsible for developing and executing effective communication strategies that enhance the organization’s brand image, strengthen stakeholder engagement, and support business objectives. This role involves crafting impactful messaging, advising leadership on communication best practices, and ensuring consistency across internal and external platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Draft, edit, and review content for press releases, reports, newsletters, websites, and social media.
  • Advise management and project teams on communication approaches for key initiatives and campaigns.
  • Build and maintain relationships with media, partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide communication support during change management, crisis situations, and public events.
  • Conduct audience research and analyze communication effectiveness, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure brand consistency and adherence to organizational guidelines across all communication channels.
  • Organize and manage events, press briefings, and stakeholder meetings.
  • Train staff and leadership on communication skills, media interaction, and storytelling.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Communication Consultant, PR Specialist, or similar role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong media relations and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proficiency in digital communication tools, social media platforms, and content management systems.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to craft clear and persuasive messaging.
  • Experience in crisis communication and reputation management is an advantage.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
