Job Title: Executive – Training & Development
Location: Colombo
Job Summary:
The Executive – Training & Development will be responsible for identifying training needs, designing learning programs, coordinating training sessions, and evaluating the effectiveness of employee development initiatives. The role focuses on enhancing workforce skills, performance, and productivity while supporting organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct training needs analysis in consultation with department heads and management.
- Design, plan, and implement training and development programs for employees.
- Coordinate internal and external training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
- Maintain training calendars, schedules, and participant records.
- Develop training materials, presentations, and digital learning content.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and performance assessments.
- Support employee engagement, career development, and succession planning initiatives.
- Manage relationships with training vendors, consultants, and institutions.
- Ensure training activities comply with company policies and industry standards.
- Prepare training reports and provide insights to management for continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Management, or related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in Training & Development or HR (corporate environment preferred).
- Strong knowledge of training methodologies, adult learning principles, and e-learning tools.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively and influence stakeholders.
