Job Description

Title: Investigation Officer

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conduct inquiries into motor claims and fraud cases, especially relating to general and motor insurance.
• Travel across Sri Lanka for field investigations.
• Prepare clear, factual, and objective reports for further review.
• Support team performance through assigned tasks and effective communication.
• Contribute to operational efficiency by working collaboratively to meet departmental goals.
• Identify and recommend training needs for self-development and team support as necessary.

Qualifications & Pre-requisites:

• Must be a retired Police Officer with a rank of Inspector or higher.
• Must be below 65 years of age.
• Sound knowledge and experience in conducting investigations, preferably within the insurance sector.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent report-writing skills with attention to detail and clarity.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications is a plus.
