Job Description

Job Title: Showroom Manager

Location: Colombo

Job Purpose:

The Showroom Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the showroom, ensuring excellent customer experience, achieving sales targets, managing staff, and maintaining the overall presentation and functionality of the showroom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the showroom, ensuring smooth functioning and adherence to company standards.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate showroom staff to achieve sales and service excellence.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize sales and profitability.
  • Monitor stock levels, coordinate with inventory/warehouse teams, and ensure timely replenishment of products.
  • Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and showroom presentation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring superior customer service and handling escalations effectively.
  • Track and analyze sales performance, prepare regular reports, and recommend improvements.
  • Plan and execute promotional activities and campaigns within the showroom.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and staff development programs.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in retail management, preferably as a Showroom Manager or Assistant Manager.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service abilities.
  • Good knowledge of retail sales strategies and visual merchandising.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in sales reporting and inventory management.
  • Ability to handle pressure, multitask, and meet targets.
  • Tech-savvy with familiarity in POS systems and MS Office.
