Job Title: Visiting Lecturer
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable professional to join our academic team as a Visiting Lecturer. The role involves delivering high-quality lectures, seminars, and tutorials in the relevant subject area, supporting students’ learning, and contributing to the academic reputation of the institution. The Visiting Lecturer will work on a part-time/contractual basis, providing expertise and industry insights to enrich the learning experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver lectures, seminars, and tutorials as per the assigned curriculum.
- Prepare teaching materials, lesson plans, and assessment tools.
- Guide and mentor students in academic projects, research, and career development.
- Assess student performance through assignments, examinations, and presentations.
- Ensure teaching content is updated, relevant, and aligned with academic standards.
- Share practical and industry-related knowledge to bridge theory and practice.
- Collaborate with the academic team to maintain teaching quality and standards.
- Participate in academic discussions, workshops, and departmental activities when required.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Master’s degree or higher in the relevant field (PhD preferred in academic institutions).
- Proven teaching or training experience at the university/college level.
- Strong subject matter expertise and up-to-date knowledge in the field.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire students from diverse backgrounds.
- Industry/professional experience (preferred in applied or vocational programs).
